New technology in polarized Photochromic lenses: Polarized lenses that “sense” light-conditions and adjust for changes in light, thus providing the best possible filtering for each situation. These lenses are also made from TAC, making them the lightest polarized photochromic lenses on the market. Light transmission of the inactivated lens is 30%. The lenses are activated when it is exposed to UV rays and transitions into a dark brown, at which point the light transmission is 10%.
