Daiwa Caldia 22 LT is the most recent addition to the Caldia range. To many anglers, Daiwa Caldia LT is synonymous with effortless fishing, and this latest version makes fishing even more efficient.

The new single-piece Monocoque Zaion housing makes the reel extremely durable and prevents water and dirt from getting inside the reel when combined with the Magsealed technology. Caldia also features new Tough Digigear Zaion gearing to complete the high-performance package. The LT concept combined with the effective ATD, the impenetrable Magsealed technology, and the Air Rotor offer the user a highly refined reel that can be used without issue in any weather.

The lightest size 1000 Caldia LT weighs just 170 grams and is thus perfect for Ultralight fishing or jigging for perch, for example. If instead you are looking for more power to take down pike or salmon, for example, the size 4000 Caldia LT is right for you. Even this version weighs a mere 230 grams, while still generating a respectable 12 kg of braking force! Please note that the 1000–2000 Caldia reels feature I-shaped reel handle knobs. The other sizes are equipped with T-shaped reel handle knobs.
