Mag Seal technology prevents dirt, water, and salt from getting inside the reel, thus extending the life of the reel and improving its usability significantly.

The torque and balance of the reel have also been improved. The new Ryoga has a 90mm Swept handle, which brings the center of gravity closer to the core of the reel. When this is combined with the new High Grip I Shape knobs, you are holding a genuine big gun full of torque that remains controllable at all times.

Ryoga incorporates Daiwa’s legendary ATD. ATD, i.e. Automatic Tournament Drag, provides steady drag performance throughout the action, thus reducing the load on the line. The drag operates smoothly and reliable from the first tug of the fish.

The new, large aluminum star drag with click adjustment is easily accessible and due to its improved design, you can effortlessly increase the drag performance in any situation.

Despite all the technology, Ryoga is extremely easy to cast with in any weather condition. Holding the Ryoga, the only thing you have to worry about is the adjustment of the magnetic casting brake – Ryoga takes care of the rest.

Effortless casting is ensured by the Daiwa Zero Adjuster tuned optimally at the factory, the free-floating Speed Shaft spool technology, the G1 Duraluminum 36mm spool, and the renowned Magforce Z casting technology.
