With Strikeforce, new anglers have access to amazing fishing experiences. The Strikeforce rod allows you to feel each bite and the full-length cork handle ensures good grip even with wet hands. Reels equipped with a front drag are more lightweight than models equipped with rear drags, and the drag is easier to adjust. The body of the reel has been redesigned for reduced weight and it also includes familiar Daiwa innovations. Twistbuster eliminates twisted lines effectively, and the precise operation of the Digigear gearing operates ensures smooth reeling. The reel is equipped with a single ball bearing and an ABS spool.

Each set includes a Strikeforce 2500B reel, which come spooled ready for use with 0.19 mm Daiwa J-Braid X4 braided line.

Two options:
213 cm, 7–28g for general fishing, such as casting for perch and zander with lightweight lures up to 28 grams. This set is great for spinners, plugs, spoons, and jigs.
244 cm, 10–40g is suitable for general casting and casual pike fishing with lightweight shads, jerks, and pike spoons up to 40 grams.
