The E.V. Trutta Vaappu plug is the first balsawood lure designed purely for casting for sea trout. The body of the plug is weighted heavily and the low air resistance makes it easy to cast. The plug rises slowly, which allows you to stop the retrieve and fish with a relaxed pace. The shallow-swimming plug swims at a depth of just 30–50 cm. The swimming action is exceptionally responsive, and you can animate it further with tugs, stops, and varying retrieve to create an irresistible action
