HK Varma Pinta PRO 10 Cm Plug

HK Varma’s Pinta PRO is an amazing plug for trolling that is handmade in Finland! True to its name, the plug swims very close to the surface, which allows for versatile use. Pinta PRO is great for trout and landlocked salmon in cold water when you are trolling in the surface layer of water. The lure’s second intended purpose is zander trolling during warm water season, when zander is often found quite near the surface. You can of course adjust the swimming depth of the lure depending on your needs using additional weights. Pinta PRO is also an excellent plug for use with downriggers, as its natural swimming depth is very shallow. The plug works with a wide variety of speeds ranging from 2 to 6 km/h. A rattler pod is placed inside the body of the lure, which produces noise in the water even at slower speeds. HK Varma’s Pinta PRO plugs are equipped with high-quality VMC hooks and stainless steel lure rings made in Finland. The lure features a single treble hook that ensures good hooking and allows you to use it in areas where multiple hooks are prohibited. This also allows you to remove fish below the minimum landing size more easily from the hook.

The Pinta PRO model has been tested successfully by Hannu Kesonen, the developer and manufacturer of the plug, in Lake Vänern in Sweden as well as many lakes around Eastern Finland. During the testing, several trout weighing 5–6 kg have been caught, for example!
